Our Classic Dyes are custom formulated in factory colors and are designed for re-finishing leather or vinyl surfaces. They are available as 12 oz aerosol spray cans or as bottles for brushing/spraying.

Classic Dyes can also refinish flexible plastics, such as dashes, consoles and kick pads. A bonding coat will be required but the adhesion to a clean plastic surface after the coat is excellent.

Carpet Dyes are formulated to enhance and restore faded carpet color. They are not designed for a complete color change.

The dyes must be applied over a clean dry surface. A Tri-clean cleaner and a silicone remover or something similar is recommended after cleaning with some mild detergent. Before application, rough up the surface with a 600 sandpaper or a scotch brite pad for best adhesion. All traces of silicone must be removed from the surface.

One aerosol can is usually sufficient to renew the color of one bucket seat. If you are making a complete color change (not recommended) you may need 2-3. One can of cleaner is sufficient for 4-5 aerosols.
