The Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit/Spur II replaced the original Spirit and Spur in 1989 with more technological innovations like its new fully automatic suspension system, fuel-injection and ABS. It ended production in 1993 when it was replaced by the Spirit/Spur III and then by the Spirit/Spur IV in 1995. The whole line was discontinued in 1998 and replaced with a new model, the Silver Seraph, when the Volkswagen Group took over Rolls-Royce.
