The Mercedes-Benz W187 was the mid-sized version of the Type 300 Series. Introduced in 1951, it initially had 3 versions: the 220 Sedan, 220 Cabriolet A and 220 Cabriolet B. In 1954, the 220 Coupe was added and the 220 Sedan was dropped. The 220 Coupe and 220 Cabriolet lasted up to 1955. The entire line was replaced by the "Ponton"-based W180.
