The Mercedes-Benz W107 was a line of 2-door luxury cars which was composed of two classes, the 2-seater roadster SL-Class (R107) and 4-seater coupe SLC-Class (C107). The R107 replaced the
W113 as the 2nd generation SL-Class and the W107 as a whole replaced the
W111 Coupes/Cabriolets thus making the SL-Class the new top cabriolet line. Introduced in 1971, only one model per class was first released: the 350SL and 350SLC. The 450SL/SLC were added in 1973, the 280SL/SLC in 1974 and 450SLC 5.0 in 1977. In 1980, all models, except the 280's, were replaced by the 380SL/SLC and 500SL/SLC. In 1981, all SLC models (C107) were discontinued with the release of the
S-Class Coupes. In 1985, the 300SL and 420SL replaced the two lower models and the 560SL was added. All models were then replaced in 1989 by the next generation of the SL-Class, the
R129.

Our authentic reproduction parts are hand produced using original materials if available. All our parts are made using our vast inventory of original patterns thus guaranteeing you an authentic restoration. Seat kits include the sewn covers and do not include the pads or the frames. No additional machine sewing is necessary, we do however recommend using a professional trimmer for installation.
